Psalms: 103
Old Testament: Isaiah 30:18-21
New Testament: Acts 2:36-41

yet your Teacher will not hide himself any more, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:20-21)

The idea that our great teacher has been revealed is one of the great joys of Easter. Jesus Christ….the man who died upon a cross in shame, has been revealed to us in glory, in light, and in life. In him we have seen God face to face, something that even Moses could not bear.

Our God beckons us to the way of the Cross knowing that it leads to salvation. May its weight not fill us with alarm, letting his strength bear us up, bracing our hearts and girding our arms.

If we have died with him, we shall live with him, if we hold firm we shall reign with him. Alleluia! +
