Psalms: 56, 57
Old Testament: Isaiah 57:17-23
New Testament: Galatians 4:1-11

For you have delivered my soul from death,
and my feet from falling,
so that I may walk before God
in the light of life. (Psalm 56:13)

In reading this, I was immediately reminded of the Micah reading from Eucharist on Sunday:

…….and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Both of these readings remind us that the walk with God is a daily task; both in prayer and in action. We do not walk alone, and the LORD will keep our feet from stumbling 🙂

This does not mean we will be perfect, but we need to at least make the effort.+
